Copper Mountain is my favorite mountain to ski each winter. I learned to ski as an adult, which is extremely tough, and as of this post I've been skiing only six times but three of them at Copper. Copper is an easy 100-mile drive on Interstate-70 from the Denver Airport or you can shuttle out.
Incredible mountain for beginners! It has a great layout of ski slopes to keep the talented skiers on the other side of the mountain instead of running over beginners like me.
The luxury homes are all located on the "green" or easy, west side of the ski resort. It is very easy to get to a number of "blue" or intermediate slopes and larger lifts that will take expert skiers to the east side of the ski resort for the "black diamond" or murderous slopes.
Murderous to me as an adult beginner! Kuddos to you expert skiers that learned as a short child with a low center of gravity and no fear!
The condos are mostly located in Center Village which offers two main lifts and don't worry beginners, I would never lead you astray. Check out my Beginner's Guide to Copper Mountain article to see how to get from Center Village to all the bunny slopes with ease as well as back to home base.
I have spoiled myself with great ski in, ski out accommodations and now wouldn't have it any other way. All of the homes and condos listed are just a short walk [I mean it, SHORT walk!] to a ski lift. Enjoy this list of best places to stay for your winter ski trip to Copper Mountain, Colorado.

COPPER MOUNTAIN LUXURY HOME RENTALS
On the north end of Copper Mountain Resort is a luxury home gated-community called Lewis Ranch. The Lewis Ranch neighborhood is on the quiet and secluded west side of the Copper Mountain ski resort. It is heavily forested toward the north, but provides excellent views of the ski slopes to the south. The gated nature of the community provides security and privacy.

My absolute favorite home (I've stayed with a group of friends twice) is "The Mill" at Lewis Ranch. Within the gates of Lewis Ranch, located at the Lumberjack chair lift is a true and direct ski-in/ski-out treasure called "The Mill." It boasts the closest location to a lift anywhere in Copper, unobstructed panoramic views of the sky chutes, ski area and Vail Valley. Free on call bell service transportation to all Villages and resort areas.
The Mill is located directly on the ski run just steps from the base of the chairlift, there simply is no closer or better location available. The ski-in entry room has dedicated ski, board and boot storage, refreshment bar for hot chocolate, microwave, fridge, washer dryer, and is a great place to ski in for a break or lunch and then hit the slopes again! Simply ski to the door (no hiking, true ski-in/ski-out), unhook and enjoy a steam shower, billiards, movie or star gaze from the deck in the privacy of your own hot tub.
Soft Old World charm, imported tile, reclaimed wood, hand-cut stone, furniture grade trim, abundant quartz and granites, warm timbers and heirloom custom built-ins complement expansive windows that offer breathtaking views in every direction are the details that set The Mill apart from most homes you will find in the area.

Out the back door of the Baker House you have access to some of the best cross country and snowshoeing in the National Forest; out the front door with a 50-yard walk is the Roundabout Run that is a green run just above the Lumberjack Lift!

Many guests say that the central, gourmet kitchen with commercial grade appliances actually made them want to cook. Copper One Lodge Condo: Best location in Center Village

I've personally stayed at this condo and I would suggest 4 adults max unless you are good with feeling cramped. Would be great for family with kids.
Copper One Lodge is the best location at Copper Mountain Resort. Closest to the lifts and in the Center of the Center Village. Aptly named Copper One Lodge. This is where the lift ticket window and equipment rental shop is located in Copper Mountain. Other owners say they have a "prime" location, but it's a 5 minute walk in your ski boots to the lifts. Step out the front door and you're in the 'Burning Stones' plaza, the focal point of this European-designed pedestrian village complete with great restaurants, chill bars, retail shops, coffee shops, grocery store and an amazing crepe shop just outside the front door.
You will love this condo. It's larger than a 2 bedroom condo, but rents for less! Our condo has two full baths and comfortably sleeps 6. There's a king size bed in the master suite, queen size Murphy bed in the den and a sleeper sofa, with a memory foam mattress, in living room. We have a full kitchen, gas log fireplace, cable TV and an outdoor patio.
Store your boards in the ski locker located inside the front door of the condo with the closest residence entrance to the ski lifts in the Center Village at Copper.
You can arrive in a blizzard and park your car in the heated underground parking garage near the elevator that takes you to your personal retreat, without stepping in snow, when you choose this condo.
Copper One Lodge has an outdoor hot tub, steam room, fitness area, heated underground parking, ice machine and laundry facilities just down the hall.
Stroll the quaint pedestrian village without having to worry about traffic. The streets are heated so there's no ice to slip on. If you want to slip around on the ice, you can rents ice skates at the shop on the lake when it's frozen.
AFFORDABLE COPPER MOUNTAIN CONDO RENTALS
When I say affordable, I am looking at the cost per night and the number of people that can comfortably sleep. These are still in great locations and proximity to chair lifts in Center Village.
The Lodge at Copper Condo: Gorgeous mountain views!

The Lodge at Copper condo itself is perfect for a family of 8. Each bedroom has a queen size bed with memory foam mattress and pillows. There’s great Wi-Fi throughout the condo. Two twin looking pullout queen sleeper sofas in the kid's living room are positioned so that it can be in use without interrupting the family TV viewing area.
The living room features a large, curved high definition smart TV that allows you to access your Netflix/Hulu/Amazon accounts to stream your favorite shows. There’s also a power cord and HDMI connection for an apple TV if you prefer. Finally, the Lodge at Copper condo comes with cable as well so you can access local high definition programming.
Also available in the building is a hot tub, dry sauna and laundry machines. The sauna room is actually just adjacent to your unit so no need to race back to your room. The laundry machines are on the first floor. You will need to bring quarters. There is one underground parking spot and one overflow spot available for our guests.

The Lodge at Copper Condo #2: Peaceful Forested Location Next to River

This condo in The Lodge at Copper #2 is one of the most popular TRUE ski-in/ski-out vacation rentals available! It is located in Center Village, right next to the American Flyer chairlift which accesses green and blue terrain.
Enjoy all the shops and restaurants that Center Village has to offer. It is really easy to ski-in, take break or have lunch, and be skiing or riding again in minutes. In the Summer this property is located right off the Ten Mile Creek which you can hear while you sleep! With a large private porch you can listen to the river and enjoy the summer weather in the Rockies!
The Lodge at Copper #2 condo is on the first floor of the Lodge at Copper building. Enjoy the large private balcony. There is a great communal outdoor hot tub to enjoy after a long day of skiing or riding.
The master bedroom has 1 King-size bed. The second bedroom has a Queen-size bed and a set of twin bunk beds. The living room also has a Sleeper Sofa. This condo sleeps up to 8.
The condominium has a well-equipped kitchen with everything to make you feel right at home. The large family room has been host to some really intense monopoly games, puzzle building and quiet movie nights in front of the gas fireplace.
There is garage parking for 1 vehicle. Outside of the building are a handful of parking spots available on a first come, first serve basis. Additional parking is available in the North Alpine Lot. There is no charge for parking.

Look no further for a 1-Bedroom Passage Point condo with mountain decor. This is a great option for a family, sleeps up to 6 people. Enjoy a great location and mountain views.
The fully equipped kitchen is ready for you to enjoy quite meal with all the comforts of home. The dinning room table seats 4. The living room is tastefully decorated with mountain accents. There is a Queen Sleeper Sofa in the living room with a gas fireplace adds to the ambiance. The bedroom has a King Bed and a TV.
It is a short walk to the American Eagle and American Flyer chairlifts. This is also a great location for beginners and first timers. The bus stop to the "bunny" slopes in West Village and the Copper Ski and Ride School is right out front. There are many shops and restaurants within walking distance as well.
Passage Point condo has garage parking for 1 vehicle. Additional vehicles can park in the North Alpine Lot at the entrance of Copper Mountain. There's an exercise room, 3 awesome outdoor hot tubs, a shared laundry room, and children's play area.
